This privacy policy outlines how Actxa Wellness Pte. Ltd. of 10 Eunos Road 8, #13-06a, Singapore Post Centre, Singapore 408600 (Unique Entity Number: 202123481H) collects and manages personal data and other personal information.

By visiting our website https://www.actxawellness.com / (our “Site”) or using Actxa Wellness or any other applications or software we provide from time to time, you accept and consent to the practices set out below. 

1. Collection of Personal Data

We may collect and process the following information about you:
 

  • Information you provide us with – information that you provide us (which may include your name, email address, telephone or mobile number, and other personal description) by filling in forms on our Site, or by corresponding with us (by phone, email or otherwise), for example:
     

  1. when you report any issue to us;

  2. when you use certain features on our Site;

  3. when you request any support from us; or

  4. when you complete any survey or questionnaire we send you.
     

  • Information we collect about you – information automatically collected when you visit our Site for example:
     

  1. technical information, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet and your log-in information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;
     

  2. information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), clickstream to, through and from our Site (including date and time), products you viewed and searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, and any phone number used to call our customer service number; and

  1. We only retain personal data for as long as it is necessary. Data may be archived as long as the purpose for which the data was used still exists. 

2. Use of Personal Data

We use information held about you for the following purposes:
 

  1. providing, improving and developing our services;

  2. researching, designing and launching new services or products;

  3. presenting content and information on our Site in the most effective manner for you and for the device you use;

  4. providing you with alerts, updates, materials or information about our services or other types of information that you requested or signed up to;

  5. collecting overdue amounts;

  6. complying with laws and regulations applicable to us in or outside of Asia;

  7. responding or taking part in legal proceedings, including seeking professional advice;

  8. for direct marketing purposes (please see further details in Clause 3 below);

  9. communicating with you and responding to your questions or requests; and

  10. purposes directly related or incidental to the above.


We intend to use your personal data in direct marketing, i.e. offering or advertising products or services by sending the relevant information directly to you). We require your consent specifically for this purpose and you may opt out at any time. For the purpose of this clause:
 

  • the personal data that may be used in direct marketing are those that you provide to us or we collect from you under clause 1 above;

  • the type of services or products that may be offered or advertised will be corporate wellness services, newsletters to improve wellness, wellbeing and those of our affiliates or business partners;

  • the relevant information may be sent to you via email, in-app notification, social media and/or digital advertising;

  • you may opt out at any time by emailing us at <hello@actxawellness.com>. We will cease to send you marketing information without charge.

3. Disclosure of Personal Data

We will keep your personal data that we hold confidential, however you consent that we may provide information to:
 

  1. Actxa Wellness' Affliates;

  2. Actxa Wellness' Partners;

  3. Actxa Wellness' professional advisers such as consultants, auditors, lawyers;

  4. Actxa Wellness' personnel, contractors, financial institutions, and service providers in connection with our operations or services (for example, staff engaged in the fulfilment of your service and the provision of support services);

  5. persons under a duty of confidentiality to us;

  6. persons to whom we are required to make disclosures under applicable laws and regulations in or outside of Asia; or

  7. actual or proposed transferees of our operations (or a substantial part thereof) in or outside of Asia;

  8. any other party to whom you authorise Actxa Wellness to disclose your Personal Data to.

4. Retention of Personal Data

Actxa Wellness shall retain your Personal Data as may be required for its legal or business purposes until such time that Actxa Wellness reasonably determines that such Personal Data is no longer necessary for its legal or business purposes.
 

Actxa Wellness protects and keeps your Personal Data safe by:
(a) only disclosing your Personal Data to such entities or parties listed in Clause 3 above; and
(b) taking reasonable measures to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
 

Actxa Wellness is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your Personal Data, and under no circumstances shall Actxa Wellness sell, rent or share your Personal Data with any unrelated third parties.

5. Use of Actxa Wellness Website and Services

  1. When you visit or interact with Actxa Wellness or its authorised service providers’ websites, Actxa Wellness or its authorised service providers may use cookies, web beacons and other similar technologies for collecting and storing information to provide you with a better, faster, and safer web experience. The terms “cookies” or “similar technologies” may be used interchangeably to refer to all technologies that Actxa Wellness may use to collect or store information in your browser or device or that collect information or assist in identifying you as a unique user in the manner described above.
     

  2. The information collected by Actxa Wellness or its authorised service providers may recognise a visitor as a unique user and may collect information including but not limited to how a visitor arrives at its websites, what kind of browser a visitor is on, what operating system a visitor is using, a visitor’s IP address and a visitor’s click stream information and time stamp (for example, which pages they have viewed, the time the pages were accessed and the time spent per web page). By visiting or interacting with Actxa Wellness or its authorised service providers’ websites, you are deemed to have consented to the collection of the aforesaid information.
     

  3. Actxa Wellness offers certain site features and services that are available only through the use of these technologies. You may block, delete, or disable these technologies if your browser permits.  However, if you decline cookies or other similar technologies, you may not be able to use certain site features or services tools on the Websites.
     

  4. The Services may contain links to other websites operated by third parties, including but not limited to the Website or Actxa Wellness' service providers or business partners. Actxa Wellness shall not be responsible for your compliance with the data protection practices of such third party websites that are linked to the Services.  You are encouraged to read the data protection policies of such third party websites. 6. Security

  1. Actxa Wellness website is hosted on the Wix.com platform that allows us to sell our services. Your data may be stored through Wix.com data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. Wix.com store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
     

  2. Actxa Wellness recommends that you take additional measures to protect your personal information, such as using secure passwords, installing anti-virus software and exercising caution to prevent unauthorised access.
     

  3. Actxa Wellness trains its employees who are authorised to handle Personal Data to maintain confidentiality and your privacy.
     

  4. Notwithstanding our attempts to protect your Personal Data in good faith and through reasonable efforts, Actxa Wellness does not guarantee that:
     

(a) all methods of transmission over the Internet or methods of electronic storage are secure and that your Personal Data under Actxa Wellness' control will remain free from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration or deletion; and
 

(b) the security measures that Actxa has put in place will prevent “hackers” or other unauthorised third parties from illegally accessing and obtaining your Personal Data under Actxa Wellness' control.

7. Data Transfer

  1. The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside Singapore. It may also be processed by persons referred to in clause 3 above who operate outside Singapore.
     

  2. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing of data outside Singapore. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely in accordance with this privacy policy.

8. Withdrawal of Consent, Access, and Correction of Personal Data

  1. ​You may withdraw your consent for Actxa Wellness to use your Personal Data for the purposes listed in Clause 2 above, in accordance with this Clause 8. Upon receiving such notice from you, Actxa Wellness may require up to thirty (30) days to process the withdrawal of your consent and securely dispose of your Personal Data. During this period, Actxa Wellness shall be entitled to continue using your Personal Data for the purposes listed in Clause 2 above. Notwithstanding any withdrawal of consent by you, Actxa Wellness may contact you for other purposes in relation to the existing products and/or services that you have requested or purchased from Actxa Wellness.
     

  2. If you:

(a) have any questions or feedback relating to your Personal Data or this Privacy Policy;

(b) would like to withdraw your consent to use of your Personal Data as set out in this Privacy Policy; or

If your Personal Data has been provided to Actxa Wellness by a third party on your behalf, you should contact that organisation or individual to make any such queries, complaints, and access and correction requests.
 

If you withdraw your consent to any or all use of your Personal Data, depending on the nature of your request, Actxa Wellness may not be in a position to continue providing its services to you, which in turn may result in the termination of any agreements or transactions between Actxa Wellness and you, and your being in breach of your contractual obligations or undertakings. Actxa Wellness' legal rights and remedies in such events are expressly reserved.

9. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy from time to time by posting the updated policy on our Site. By continuing to use our Site after the changes come into effect means that you agree to be bound by the revised policy.

10. Idemnity

You shall indemnify Actxa Wellness and its officers, employees, representatives and agents against all actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, expenses and costs arising out of any of your acts, omission or negligence in the course of using or accessing the Website, the Services and/or Actxa Wellness' Products that cause or result in Actxa Wellness to be in breach of the PDPA or other applicable laws.
